James Foster, Winemaker
Raised on the historic Roseland Plantation in Eufaula, Alabama, the family’s farm that cultivated peanuts, hay, and cotton, the journey into winemaking was not happenstance for James Foster. With his father as a pivotal influence—having ventured into the California wine industry—James grew up surrounded by the art of winemaking. Summer days were spent in vineyards, cellars, and bottling lines, honing skills that eventually solidified his life’s calling. Over two decades, he’s explored the globe and contributed to remarkable projects.
